We Have Walls up on our House!!!!

It has only been a week and the first floor of the garage is almost done and so is about half of the exterior of the first floor. With these new S.I.P (Structured Insulated Panels) forms - the house will go up fairly quickly. Give us another week and it may actually look like a house. It has only taken us two years from the day we bought the property to get to this point!!!

Take a look at the veiw... on a clear day you can see the snow capped Sierras.

Meet the Wiest Family from the Hills

Here is a current picture of the Wiest Family in front of the new Sacramento Temple. Our family is growing adding a wonderful daughter-in-law - Hilary and a beautiful grandson - Brennen.

Making Progress - We Have a Subfloor

Things are starting to move fairly quickly on the house. We now have a sub-floor with the ground plumbing etc. If all goes well this week and the building department signs off on this phase - we will be framing by the end of the week. We are using S.I.P Panels (Structured Insulated Panels). Which basically means we should be able to frame the house fairly quickly and our house will actually look like a something.
